We also spent 15 minutes in class reading to fullfill the mission of Read-O-Thon. Students were asked to tell in Chinese how many pages they read and to add up all the pages. Well, good is they all read their numbers in Chinese right; bad is none of them added the numbers right. :))

We went to the field trip to Asian Imperial at 1st lunch and came back around 12:30pm. Students enjoyed the food; they all said "XieXie LaoBan" (Thanks to the owner) to the owner of the restaurant. They did great.

Field Trip Permission for Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is here and falls on January 23 and its celebration lasts for 15 days. To help students to experience Chinese food and its culture, we are happy to hold this field trip to Imperial Asian cuisine & Shushi Bar nearby Syracuse Junior High School to celebrate Chinese New Year. With the limited accommodation of the restaurant with 30 people at most, we are afraid that we only can take 30 students a trip to the restaurant for lunch. This would be one of the great experiences a student may have; they have some Chinese food.
Please click "Permission Slip" to access the file; download and print it out if you would like to participate the field trip.
