Today we learned the French number zero to ten.
zéro, un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf, dix

And later we used small whiteboards to practice these numbers and spellings. Most of students spelled cinq to cing (x) and/or quatre to guatre (x). Next we played binggo on whiteboards. We ran out of time so we didn't make flashcards about the numbers.
We spent some time on students powerpoint introduction. While a student is presenting his/her powerpoint, other students need to write down at least 10 facts about the country they introduced. We also didn't have enough time for students to make flashcards about the facts and use them to do an activity that we planned to do - they asked one another these facts.

Today we went to the computer lab to generate a powerpoint assignment.

Students are asked to heed unto the following instructions:

#1, pick up a country whose official language in French.

#2, google search - pioneer online library utah (k12 schools) or click the link Pioneer- Utha's Online Library

#3, if you are at http://pioneer-library.org/ then you need to click K12 Schools on the webpage

#4, Click "CulturalGram" and then choose the "World Edition".

#5, After clicking the "world edition", choose the continent on the global map that the French-speaking country you choose.

#6, Click the French -speaking country you choose.

#7, Read the article about the French-speaking country you choose.

#8, Create a 20 slide powerpoint with the facts about the country.

#9, Each slide needs to include one fact and one picture.

#10, Each slide equal 5 pts; the total pts for the powerpoint is 100pts.

#11, After you've done the powerpoint, you will need to present it in class.
