le dix-sept Mai, jeudi May 17, Thursday - B Day
We first reviewed the French numbers with some games/activities. For example, we went outside and I said the French numbers, students were to get togather as a group of number that I said. If I said "trois", then 3 students would get togather as a group; if I said "cinq", then 5 students would get togater as a group. After that we did the French number package related to math.

Today we learned French numbers from zero to cent.We usd a sheet of paper and folded in 16 boxes instead of whtieboards to practice these words. We did the quiz at the end of the class with 5 minute open book.

I was not here today due to a doctor appointment. Foreign Language Survey students were expected to read an article about Canada and answer questions about it from reading the article. May 7, Monday - Le sept Mai, Lundi - B Day
Today we learned the French words about animals.
animal = animal
animeux = animals
le chien = the dog
le chat = the cat
le poulet = the chicken
l'oiseau = the bird
l'ours = the bear
la vache = the cow
le cheval = the horse
le mouton = the sheep
students were asked to make 16 flashcards with these French animals. In the front of the flashcards, they needed to write down a French animal, its English meaning, and a sentence with it in each of the box. In the back, they needed to draw the animal to the words. For 6th period,we also used the whiteboards to practice the animals.
